WHY WE TARGET Y COMBINATOR SO MUCH
For those unfamiliar, Y Combinator is a startup accelerator that has helped many multi-billion dollar companies such as DoorDash, Airbnb, Instacart, Reddit, Coinbase, and more.
This chart released last night shows why we target so many YC companies to list offerings on our platform. I am not going to dive into the acronyms unless you guys email me asking for more, but the chart shows that through 2018-2020, YC companies that produced the LOWEST of returns outperformed the HIGHEST general VC fund returns investing outside of the accelerator.
Insane.
I cannot predict to you whether this trend will continue, but we’re placing bets on it. Remember when working with early stage companies, “No crying in the casino.”
