NIL
NIL In 2025

It never ceases to amaze me how markets and legislation continue to reshape the business of college sports on a monthly basis.

One new phenomena we're experiencing at Athletes & Assets™ is meeting representation of major college athletes curious about equity and portfolio building. Some of the cash opportunities offered to their college clients don't contribute to their brand and financial contentment anymore.

Crazy, but here we are! Welcome to 2025.

TIPT VENTURES

The Future of Women in Sports

Source: Forbes

Tipt Ventures is a new investment firm which focuses on investments in companies addressing the economical gaps in sports which historically underserve women in media, athlete and fan experiences, data/analytics, performance science, and collegiate/youth sports.

Their first investment was in IDA Sports, the first soccer cleat designed specifically for the female foot.

Fielding Jamieson and Ami Galani founded Tipt on the belief that women are the biggest growth opportunity in sports; as athletes, fans, and general consumers of the industry.

Congratulations to the Tipt team on the launch and best of luck with the rest of the raise!

I am personally excited to see how female athletes with cultural staying power continue to push products and companies that are of non-obvious interest to them as compensation in outside of their sport increases.

We’re working on some great female guests to tell their side of the story. Stay tuned and make to subscribe here.

A&A MARKETPLACE

Onboarding select athletes and investors

We got companies…

Now we’ve onboarded the majority of our athletes and investors who have been early paying users of the old platform, and will give them a little breathing room to have first access to the opportunities we’re sourcing for them.
